tight quality control maybe, but it's still an assembly line where one worker does one job on multiple guitars every day whereas a real luthier makes the guitar from scratch from beginning to end.

yeah but those were some of the best musicians ever they can play good music on cardboard with a spork I love music and love the artistry that goes into making a good instruments. I both love AND respect art and this is not art

Actually I know a very good luthier and talked with him about making acoustic guitar for me, and he said that he would rather not because he would have to make 2-3 guitar to build one that would meet his expectations and it has litle to do with materials or build quality. At the other hand if you make 10000 instruments you can select those that have better qualities give them nice inlays and sell them as higher spec models.

Well that's one Luthiers opinion. I do instrument repairs myself and know plenty of luthiers that would not only disagree with your luthier, but that could build you a great instrument first try. Not to discredit production guitars... I have one cause it's what I can afford... All I was saying is that these assembly line workers are not luthiers... Well maybe some of them are in their spare time.

She's the Canadian English narrator. They use a different voice for the french version (obviously) and they use an American narrator to voice what you see in the USA.
For some reason TV networks think people need to hear the show done with a "local" accent.

Strange, I said that because I had seen the same show with a guy doing the narrator. Now we see the power of marketers. That's kind of a stupid reason though, she sounds normal to me as far as accents go. Thanks for the info.
